How to Not is a story about inelegantly chasing that one thing on the road to becoming who you are. When a night out with friends leads you down and out, feeling like you have nothing figured out, and half-drunk you have a chance encounter with an unlikely match on a dating website. The road to self-discovery can take unlike shapes, and in this case it comes in the dreamy shape of a paramedic with long brown hair named Jamie. It starts as so many modern day romances start, all alone at night, half drunk and on the internet.
