Ready for Ransom

Country: Germany, Language: German, 16 mins

  • Director: Simon Dickel

CGiii Comment

It's an obituary...sadly, not a very good one.

Ransom Bradford, quite rightly, deserved to tell his story...Simon Dickel chose - without any filmmaking skill whatsoever, to tell a kiss-of-death snippet...with an unbearable monotonal narration.

Not worthy of an Iris Prize nomination.

The(ir) Blurb...

A biographical film about a so-called “conversion-therapy”, a belated filmic obituary, a meditation on loss and love, and a reflection on the filmmaker’s friendship with the late protagonist.
