CGiii Comment

Oooh dear...

A young dancer is bonking his brother-in-law...cue melodrama on a scale that would embarrass Richter...and most of the acting profession.

Soap 'stars' on both sides of the camera...oooh dear.

The main problem is...the writing. Leon Lopez has no idea how to write natural dialogue...or, to construct a credible story. The shards of irresponsibility are bewildering...the condom conversation was...jaw-dropping. The revelation scene...bemusing.

It's clear that little or, to be more accurate, no research was done into the subject...that subject being HIV...a very dated and dangerous point-of-view is presented.

The second major problem is the direction...there is none, other than the deliver-your-lines-as-best-you-can ethos...aided and abetted by erratic camera-work that relies solely upon the basic point-and-shoot principle.

As for the soundtrack...with some very strange and inexplicable music choices...it comes and goes indiscriminately. Intensely annoying.

It's difficult to figure out what Lopez's intention was with this film...because, in these enlightenment times, it does come over as somewhat anti-gay...and, definitely, anti-bisexual.

Dear oh dear oh dear...possibly, not the intention?!?
