Chip and Devon, two teen buddies, succumb to their mutual attraction during one fateful summer centered around the state fair. Twenty years later, "Chip" has become "Christopher," a successful politician who is marrying into a wealthy, influential family and running for a seat in the U.S. Senate. When Devon comes back into his life looking to revisit their youthful romance, the timing couldn't be worse. Chip has to choose whether to stay true to his career aspirations or his heart.
