CGiii Comment

It may be the 21st century...but, Jennifer lives her life in cloud-cuckoo-land...deferring and worshipping men...it's all a little creepy!

It turns out that Jennifer has a lesbian daughter...she blames herself for her being a lesbian...you would think that this is the point of the film...alas, no. Anna Snowball spends no more than 30 seconds on the vital part...all the rest [of this film] is [creepy] fluff!

The(ir) Blurb...

Looking at the emergence of a new women's movement in the US focused on reverting to the values of traditional housewives of the 50s and early 60s through the story of a Chicago divorcee. Jennifer is a super-fan of 'Fascinating Womanhood', an international best-seller in 1963 which is the bible of the movement. She goes to Springfield, Missouri to assist the author's daughter who is about to publish a follow-up book for the current generation of women. The movement associates itself with the hashtag #TradWives.
