An intensely annoying story of greed, dysfunction and disloyalty.

3 vile sisters and a poofy brother...the so-called comedy is nowhere to be found.

This auteur obviously thought she was being quirky and off-the-wall...in reality, banging your head against a brick wall would be quirkier than watching this drudgery.

Strangely, it was nominated for the best foreign language film of 2003...strange.

A fun story about a family of 3 sisters whose gay brother, Nino, has decided to marry a woman in order to inherit their childhood summer retreat (Hotel Paraiso) on the coast of Portugal. The sisters plot to sabotage the engagement so as to save the hotel for themselves.
