CGiii Comment

It's as automatic as saying: All male flight attendants are screaming queens!!!

Male ballet dancers...as gay as a Jumbo full of the above.

Not so - as this film eagerly stresses from the outset.

These three boys are just like any other boys of their age - girl-hungry, monosyllabic drones.

Not so - they love and can...dance.

There are three distinct abilities: bronze, silver and gold. Only one has the potential for a successful dance career - and they know it. The creeping jealousies are not fully explored...quite rightly, out of respect for these young men. But, they are there.

It's an adequate film that highlights different forms of stress and strain - from the financial to the physical.

Dedication costs...in tears and sweat. This film needed a little bit more of both to fully understand the compulsion that these boys have...still, it ends on a high with the possibility for a follow-up film - now, that could be a very interesting film indeed.
