CGiii Comment

Minor gay-character actor writes and directs a movie...and, manages to gets it produced by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld (Director of: Legally Blonde, Kisssing Jessica Stein).

And...it really is a little rose-bush - with a little light pruning, it could have been a wonderful garden.

That said - Bushman has done a remarkable job on a slim budget.

The actors are way above average and there are some moments that really do reach out and touch.

A few unnecessary scenes, a focus that dips a little - but, an obvious talent is in evidence.

This really is a rough diamond of a film - time definitely well-spent.

An effort most commended.

The(ir) Blurb...

Recently broken up and barely enduring a dreary winter, gay Parisian Jérôme Beaunez impulsively books a solo Christmas vacation to Los Angeles. While there he meets some colorful locals and pursues a dormant desire to become a movie star - but never can quite put the past behind him. In this meditation on love and narcissism across continents, Jérôme goes far in the sun-drenched City of Angels but ultimately arrives at an old Hollywood maxim: there's no place like home.
