CGiii Comment
A musical is, possibly, the most difficult genre to do on a tight budget.
Surprisingly...Leading Ladies does feature some fine songs.
With hefty pruning, a re-cast of some actors, more dancing and some more money...this could have been a damn fine film...however...
...the ending is atrocious...end it with a big musical number - for God's sake...it's a musical about dancing...with not enough dancing!!!
