CGiii Comment

The musical...the most difficult of genres. And, sometimes it all just comes together...

Think: Paris is Burning without the prostitution, the drugs or the virus.

The budget may have been tiny...but, the talent, on both sides of the camera, is immense.

The music pounds throughout...This is my Lament is staggeringly powerful...as is His Name is Shawn.

There are a few wobbly moments...the opening scene is not the greatest way to start a movie...but, don't let that put you off...it gets better and better.

Without a doubt, it will leave you with the broadest of smiles smeared across your cynical phizzogs...if it doesn't, you are clinically depressed.
