Love and Death on Long Island

Country: Canada | UK, Language: English, 93 mins

  • Director: Richard Kwietniowski
  • Writer: Gilbert Adair; Richard Kwietniowski
  • Producer: Steve Clark-Hall; Brian Donovan

CGiii Comment

Gilbert Adair is an acquired taste.

This outright ridiculous story is only watchable because of the irrepressible John Hurt - doing the best he can with substandard material.

Why anyone would want to adapt a horrible novel into a horrible film is beyond belief.

It really is terrible.
