Rebelling against restrictive mainstream representations of queer romance, 'Monster Mash' tells the story of a Halloween night hookup turning into something more for a pair of morbid misfits costumed as Horror Cinema's most iconic female characters. A queer Valentine to Horror Film vilifying the genre's homophobic elements through subversion, appropriation and recontextualization, 'Monster Mash' is a midnight movie with a message.
