Ninety days to make a life-changing choice. Women of all social backgrounds go to the Cervello Hospital in Palermo for a voluntary termination of pregnancy while the pro-life center ostracizes this practice. Nurse Antonietta guides the women on their path into having an abortion with pills and sanitary pads, while the women of the anti-abortion movement carry on their battle by offering layettes and showing photographs of newborn babies. Two opposing worlds united by a race against time.
The director tells stories, hopes, desires, doubts and fears of some women who are facing a life changing choice. Untangling the difficulties that follow their decision, the women protagonists confront guilt and the whys of their choices. The female body is absent and present at the same time, crossed by tensions and uncertainties.

Novanta giorni per fare una scelta che cambia la vita. Donne di ogni estrazione sociale si rivolgono all'Ospedale Cervello di Palermo per l’interruzione di gravidanza mentre un centro pro-vita ostracizza questa pratica. L'infermiera Antonietta guida le donne nel loro percorso per abortire tra pillole e assorbenti, mentre le donne del movimento anti aborto, tra corredini e fotografie di neonati, portano avanti la loro battaglia. Due mondi opposti uniti da una corsa contro il tempo.
La regista racconta le storie, le speranze, i desideri, i dubbi e le paure di alcune donne che si trovano ad affrontare una scelta per sé stesse. Districandosi tra le difficoltà che susseguono la loro decisione le donne protagoniste si confrontano con il senso di colpa e con i perché delle loro scelte. Assente e presente al contempo è il corpo delle donne, attraversato da tensioni e incertezze.
