Photographs from the past, animations, archive letters, between metalanguage and historical reconstruction. American director Irit Reinmeheir makes this first episode of an experimental series a tribute to a group of Jewish feminists who lived in Germany from World War I to World War II. These episodes in the life of Hannah Karminski, who was deported to Auschwitz, are gathered together in a poetic book of memories.
