CGiii Comment

For some unknown reason, medical dramas usually prove to be rather popular....oops!

3 paramedics - now known as Emergency Medical Technicians - a monotonous, didactic, philosophising prick, a promiscuous poof, a not-so-bright representation of an ethnic minority...and, a sexually-starved policewoman with a black, gay partner...

It was marketed more as a comedy than the drama that it actually is - and, weirdly, aimed at the wrong audience...the MTV fanbase - with all the unnecessary post-production gimmicks and incongruous music...it falls flat on its face.

There was a potential that soon disappeared amid the 2 dimensional characters (with ineptly-written hidden depths)...less threepenny analysis and more about the actual job would have propelled this series, possibly, onto a second series...alas, by the time it reaches its constricted conclusion all interest has waxed and waned.

Ill-conceived.
