Jean-Claude Bernardet is old and sick. The greatest living film critic from Brazil reinvents himself through his own destruction. The film, which moves between fiction and documentary, makes use of unusual devices to trigger the memory of the character and it tells the story of a scholar who becomes an actor at the age of 70. This is not a conventional biography but a project built by the character himself throughout shooting. An essay on the appropriation of one's own body in old age.
