If you can get through the first 80 or so tedious minutes...without falling asleep...more fool you!
If you are still awake...you will be treated to silliness rather than tedium. A little bit of lesbian necrophilia...lesbian cannibalism and the subsequent regurgitation of bits of the devoured!
The main problem is with Elle Fanning's character...she is meant to be the most beautiful woman whoever walked upon this planet...unfortunately, her co-stars outshine her in the beauty department which makes their jealousies rather questionable/unbelievable...but, Refn demands you suspend the disbelief...you'll have to...nothing is believable...from the empty parties to the equally vacated fashion shows - were extras not accorded a budget?!?
This is a film packed full of [debatable] style...alas, with very little substance. As for the ending...oh please!
