A spectacular BBC f&*k-up - the powers that are/were/be, didn't realise how good this was - hence, only two series.

This was a breakthrough show - it opened the way for a multitude of subsequent series: Queer as Folk, Skins etc etc...

The BBC had gold in their hands...they just threw it away.
