Danny Cheng Wan-Cheung [aka Scud] makes the same film over and over again.Young men, perfect bodies, lashings of nudity...what's there not to like? You can't gey by on good looks alone! [So 'they' say].
Now, with 7 features under his belt...you'd think he would/could/should change the record...unfortunately, no!
Still...young men, perfect bodies, lashings of nudity...plus, in this instance [and it is no added bonus] - wait for it - a philosophical treatise on religion! Bollocks and more bollocks...there are bollocks absolutely everywhere!
As ever, the cinematography is a visual feast. Everything about this production is quality...apart from the most important part...the story. Scud is split between two disparate film-making words: Pornography and Arthouse. Perhaps, he should ditch these two and sprint - screaming - towards the mainstream...he - most definitely - has the accoutrements to make a decent [accessible and enjoyable] film.
Pornography is mindless, arthouse is mindful...linking these two [many have tried and failed, present example included] is a bridge than spans too far.
Still...if it's young [beautiful] men, perfectly toned bodies, lashings of shameless nudity that you are after...you won't get much better than this!

It’s the story of Yang Ke (Adonis He Fei), an actor with the Beijing Opera, whose dreams of stardom are fading now that he’s pushing 30. When he loses his job and is down on his luck, he finds himself answering ads for “nude outdoor model” gigs and soon ends up participating in what will become his ticket to infamy: a gay porn film that becomes a sensation in the underground. As Ke descends further and further into a world of hedonism as a hotly desired sex worker, he finds himself increasingly emotionally detached. When Ke accepts the invitation of a mysterious, masked client (played by gay porn star Eric East) on his 30th birthday, even he might have found his limits.
