CGiii Comment
The writer asks a big ask...to accept a [rather implausible] co-incidence, all is fair if you can take this [happily] onboard.
However, O'Donnell certainly knows how to take his time about it...to the detriment of the film...and, to the co-incidence itself. Talk about over-cooking the meat!
It's not a terrible film by any stretch of the imagination...it just needed a little bit more imagination...throwing out the 'co-incidence' in the first 10 minutes or so would have been a good place to start...focusing on young gay love in the mid-west by two idyllic lads who share a rather strange connection...yes, it's that co-incidence again!
Repetition in not the way to write a review...nor, is it a way to make a film...it's all too groundhog!
