CGiii Comment

Clips of Reagan and Bush Sr. endorsing icons such Rambo, Rocky IV, Hulk Hogan, and the Governator himself - all steroid-popping phonies.

It is certainly very informative - over and over and over again.

Really, it is so long and over-stated that boredom sets in very quickly.

60 minutes would have been quite sufficient - the message is clear: people die of tobacco and alcohol - not steroids. And, every athlete takes them.

Steroids are as American as apple pie - that just says it all.

The(ir) Blurb...

In America, we define ourselves in the superlative: we are the biggest, strongest, fastest country in the world. Is it any wonder that so many of our heroes are on performance enhancing drugs? Director Christopher Bell explores America's win-at-all-cost culture by examining how his two brothers became members of the steroid-subculture in an effort to realize their American dream.
