CGiii Comment
The directorial debut of Ms Passon...
The premise is a little much to take in...a slight blow to the head can make you into a raving nymphomaniac (lesbian) prostitute...well, if you are going to be a prostitute - this is the way to do it: pick & choose your clients, luxurious apartment and a top-notch fee. Yes, all reality goes flying out of the window. But, this is more about desire....those that have it, those that want it and those that can't be bothered with it.
As a comment on relationships, it is unashamedly pessimistic...secrets, lies, infidelity...and, a reluctant tolerance nestled with compromise - all in the name of not upsetting the idyll...we are but sexual creatures - and there are those who aren't. Compromise.
Beautifully photographed, finely acted - a damn decent debut.
