Good Will Hunting

Country: USA, Language: English, 126 mins

  • Director: Gus Van Sant
  • Writer: Matt Damon; Ben Affleck
  • Producer: Su Armstrong; Lawrence Bender

CGiii Comment

When Van Sant does a straightforward narrative, succumbing to the Hollywood ethos for sentimentality...he makes money and wins awards.

He should do it more often.

The script is impressive and won the Oscar. As did Mr Williams for best supporting actor. RIP.
