Kidulthood

Country: UK, Language: English, 89 mins

  • Director: Menhaj Huda
  • Writer: Noel Clarke
  • Producer: Clark N. Anthony; James Armitage

CGiii Comment

Noel Clarke writes and acts - over-reaching himself by a huge margin.

The dialogue is, in parts, laughable - there are those that will argue: 'but that's how kids speak now'.

Fine....point taken. It's not the way they speak that is laughable - it's the content...total nonsense.

Kids will like it...because, they will be able to relate to it.

Adults will hate it simply because it isn't that clever.

And, what a terrible title!
