Locked In

Locked In explores the struggles of transgender Muslims in South Africa, where they are marginalized and persecuted. The Inner Circle, a non-profit human rights organization, seeks to assist transgender Muslims come to terms with their sexuality within their faith, and seeks to raise consciousness about gender diversity and sexual diversity throughout the South African Muslim community. This film is a real eye opener for people not living in a country where their very existence is threatened with torture and death.
