Drags took on the centerstage for the first time in Danish cinema with the comedy “Mirror, Mirror”. A gaily coloured group of gays, drags and transsexuals is depicted on ordinary as well as party days through tremendously amusing and honest, but sometimes also prejudiced reproductions of funny characters. We meet the unsuccessful Bent, son of a failed, dying and very decadent cabaret dancer, who just wanted a daughter. Most of Bent’s friends are gay but he also knows a straight couple; Tom and Else, and Bent is in love with Tom. When Bent’s mother dies the drags do a giant party and everything goes wrong...
