While the country is under the yoke of a military junta and corrupt priests preach the apocalypse, a lawless, eccentric family - a kind of Bonnie and Clyde with kids - trek through the Brazilian interior. Their first aim is to deliver a consignment of weapons to a group of militant nuns who have withdrawn to the jungle, living off the income from their cannabis plantation.

Enquanto o país está sob o jugo de uma junta militar e pastores corruptos pregam o apocalipse, uma família excêntrica e sem lei – uma espécie de “Bonnie & Clyde” com crianças – caminha pelo interior brasileiro. Seu primeiro objetivo é entregar uma remessa de armas a um grupo de freiras militantes que se retiraram para a selva, vivendo da renda de sua plantação de cannabis.
