CGiii Comment
Señor Almodóvar obviously wrote this in his native Spanish...then, handed it to an incompetent translator...who managed to do a remarkably bad job!
Despite his heady directorial status, the English-speaking actors should have called him out on the many clunky and unacceptable lines.
Being only 31 minutes too short, Señor Almodóvar has crammed in too, too much - excess rarely works in a short film...more less, less more.
On the brighter side, there are a couple of breath-taking moments...more of these, less of the rest.
If there is to be another foray into the English language...employ a native-English-speaking script editor who isn't afraid of powerful directors!
