His lover since 1982, Hervé Couergou would become the companion of filmmaker Lionel Soukaz during the painful first years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. They share their friends, their lovers, creation, despairs and joys, their life in itself. This film tells, from a diary that spans 2000 hours over several decades, the story of Hervé and Lionel, a story like a refuge in the storm, and the poetic genius that even death does not reduce to silence, which is expressed in the video diary cassettes, in their correspondence and on the colorful pages of the diaries.
