CGiii Comment

A knight of the realm...behaving badly.

Patrick Stewart has fun...and, it shows...playing a faux gentrified Englishman/boy - in Hollywood - with a dubious sense of morality and a willingness to dabble in yet-undiscovered fruits. Watch the first episode...you'll understand.

Of course there's subtext, by the bucket-load...he has an adoring manservant with a mighty appendage...whom he likes to paint...nude. The portrait is a jaw-dropping work of art! Watch the episode...you'll see.

Madcap, erratic, haphazard and unpredictable...

Where it will go is anyone's guess...seldom do writers have such a free 'reign' over their characters...and, Mr Stewart's approach to this is - obviously - with a no-holes barred attitude...or, is it?!? Will there be something he refuses to do? We will wait and, in so doing, revel in the cocaine-fuelled debauchery.

Ludicrous...but, very entertaining.

The(ir) Blurb...

British newscaster Walter Blunt comes to Los Angeles, intent on conquering the world of American cable TV. Through the platform of a nightly interview show, Blunt is on a mission to impart his wisdom and guidance on how Americans should live, think and behave. Unfortunately, Blunt is constantly harassed by interfering network bosses, a dysfunctional news staff, and his numerous ex-wives and children. Blunt must now deal with the fallout from his well-intended but misguided actions, both on and off the air, with only an alcoholic manservant at his side.
