CGiii Comment

In the frame of the Capodimonte Museum, under the arm with Luigi Ontani and his unmistakable creations. It’s almost a ballet in the name of art. Presented in competition at the seventh edition of the Giornate degli autori (Venice Days), within the International Venice Film Festival 2010. “... documentary dedicated to the multifaceted gay artist Luigi Ontani, painter, sculptor and photographer, exponent of actionism declined towards kitsch, famous especially in the seventies for his transgressive performances in which he realized bizarre living paintings reinterpreting with a perspective camp various historical and mythological characters. In “Narcissus”, perhaps his best-known work, he selfless himself completely naked with a tulip tulip tulip stuck in the rectum. The title “Capo Dio Monte” derives from the name of the exhibition dedicated to him set up last year in the Neapolitan museum of Capodimonte.
