Marfa Girl

Country: USA, Language: English, 105 mins

  • Director: Larry Clark
  • Writer: Larry Clark
  • Producer: Win Craft; Adam Sherman

CGiii Comment

A Larry Clark film usually causes a few rumbles...especially after a 6 year hiatus.

Sadly, there's no thunder with this lamentably lame offering.

A dour teen plods his way towards adulthood...via various drab and overly long conversations.

The gay interest comes near the end - it's brief and violent and not entirely convincing.

A massively disappointing 'comeback' from a director who has ran out of things to say.
