CGiii Comment
Inroduced and interrupted by an irritant...Zach Noe Towers, he likes the word 'like' - as do most of the 'comedians' featured - his and their material is...somewhat lacking.
So...what's wrong with this mismanaged compilation! Almost everything...too many acts, not enough good material, no atmosphere, hand-picked audience, a weird laughter track...and, that ubiquitous irritant!
Stand-up is about interaction, engagement, relativity, a rapport...it really is a journey...here, every act gets a minute or so and then it's on to the next act and the next 'joke' - which are all compacted into a ridiculous themed structure...who thought that one up? Mistake.
Daniel Webb steals the show - briefly - at the very end. Shame, he was only featured once...considering a few had a few too many spots...talk about mismanagement!
