CGiii Comment

There is nothing quite like being lulled into a false sense of happiness...

Mañas shows considerable control...punctuating the film with inappropriate scenes and dialogue...you just know something is wrong.

However, he does let go of the reigns by the end...and, the film suffers as a result...which is a great shame.

Just one scene ruined the whole thing - when you see it, you'll know instantly what scene it is...a very strange decision was made when it made it into the final edit.

The(ir) Blurb...

El Bola, a 12 year old boy a.k.a. "Pellet" is a 12 year old boy raised in a violent and sordid environment. Embarrassed by his family life, he avoids becoming close to classmates. The arrival of a new boy at school changes his attitude towards his classmates, and friendship. The heart of the story is the change in El Bola's life, at almost all levels, after befriending this new classmate.
