Red Amnesia

The stubborn, retired widow Deng lives according to a daily routine: she keeps feeding her two grown ­up sons to ensure that they eat well, and she visits her mother’s retirement home. Her only company is the ghost of her deceased husband. However, her routine is disturbed when she starts receiving eerie phone calls, a stone is hurled through her window, and she starts noticing the presence of a young man (Shi Liu). Is she imagining it all? Or do these events have something to do with her past, when she left her home village after the Cultural Revolution?
