CGiii Comment

Following a traumatic brain injury, Gwen no longer recognises her own face in the mirror, and her partner Toni doesn't recognise her either. As a loved-one, Toni faces new challenges on a daily basis, something that Sarah can relate to only too well. After her husband Joe suffers a brain injury, she worries that he will gradually be unable to remember their shared past. Together with Dr. Farmer, who is convinced there are chances of recovery, Toni and Sarah fight for the future of the people they love. Based on the play of the same name by Kaite O'Reilly, The ALMOND AND THE SEAHORSE is a poignant story about how blows of fate can be overcome through love. Charlotte Gainsbourg and Rebel Wilson shine in the leading roles.
