Groomsmen (The)

Country: USA, Language: English, 98 mins

  • Director: Edward Burns
  • Writer: Edward Burns
  • Producer: Karinne Behr; Margot Bridger

CGiii Comment

And stars Edward Burns - an actor who has distinctive posturing problems, a writer who is more comfortable whining and swearing rather than writing something intelligent and, a director who has neither vision nor pace.

This is run-of-the-mill-no-surprises tale of 30-something friends: Closet gay, sterile husband etc etc - yes, it's all been done before and it has been done much, much better.

Give this one a very wide berth.

And...the acting is far from being accomplished - snap with writing and direction.
