CGiii Comment

There are the good bits, the not-so good bits...and then, there are the terrible bits.

The terrible bits: the George Michael wannabes (neither of them can act) and the ending...as clear as mud.

Apart from those little misdeamenours...there are some ensemble set pieces that are truly inspired...at the dinner table when truths are told...mesmerising.

The lesbian storyline reflects the changing attitudes of the time...those ecstasy pills certainly made everyone more tolerant and accepting... those were the days.

A credible drama...with some seriously tender moments.
