One of the many films coming out of Eastern Europe...their accounts of violence and discrimination are horrific.

But, and it has got to be said, those who leave [rather than those you flee] do their native cause an injustice...strength in numbers.

Not every LGBT person can leave their homeland...just saying.

The(ir) Blurb...

In the wake of a vicious anti-LGBT government crackdown in Azerbaijan in September 2017, this documentary film follows the plight of three young LGBT Azeris: Roma, Ladycat and Kristina, all of whom fled their home country hoping to find sanctuary in Istanbul. On a journey from Istanbul to Baku, the filmmakers combine animation and video footage to reveal stories of extortion, torture and murder and discover that for those who have managed to escape, persecution has followed them.
