CGiii Comment

Roeg's depiction of Verdi's Un ballo in maschera is crap - a ludicrous moustache stuck on the face of a woman - instant lesbianism - how uncontroversial.

La virgine degli angeli by Sturridge [Verdi] is a sad beauty - the music really speaks for itself in this one.

Godard's Armide [Tully] is a hugely annoying piece of nonsense - without any merit whatsoever. Total rubbish.

Temple's Rigoletto [Verdi] is infantile and stupid.

Okay - no more - this is just rubbish, considering the directors - there is not one who is worth their salt.

Agonisingly BAD.
