Enough of that old religion...hypocrites.
Education would be a better prescription...they ain't the brightest bunch - especially when one resident announces that (s)he would need a foot-reduction operation because women don't have big feet.
You couldn't make it up!

Carmen's Place, by director Anna Wilking, is an intimate portrayal of life at a transgender friendly shelter for teenagers run by an Episcopal priest in Queens, NY. For many of the residents, life at Carmen's Place is the first real home they've ever experienced. Through spiritual guidance, community building and his philosophy of radical acceptance, Father Braxton teaches residents how to become self-sufficient adults who accept themselves and their gender identities.
