CGiii Comment

Simply...beautiful.

Rarely can a director derive simplicity from complexity...flawlessly, Alan Brown achieves the near-impossible...by slowly turning up the thermostat - from the frosty to the smouldering and onwards...to the downright heart-warming.

The choreography, the cinematography, the editing - all explicit in their finesse.

The soundtrack: the idyllic Scott Matthew and the frailty of Perfume Genius' closing...an inspired choice.

The performances...massive character arcs bridged by the small steps of familiarity...clever.

Alan Brown et al. - undiluted admiration and gratitude for such a magnificence.
