Despite the increase in Polish people’s awareness when it comes to sexually transmitted diseases (STD), including HIV/AIDS, they are still a taboo subject, a substitute topic, an unsaid one. This way, the number of people exposed to virus transmission increases. Silence is not the solution. The story depicted in the film revolves around the presence of HIV/AIDS in Poland. It deliberates over tolerance and social attitude towards this problem, over openness and eventually anxiety. People living with the virus and those who live in ignorance saying “But that doesn’t apply to me” both fall victim’s to this anxiety.
Pomimo zwiekszajacej sie z roku na rok swiadomosci spolecznej Polaków, zagadnienie chorób przenoszonych droga plciowa (STD) – a w tym HIV/AIDS – pozostaje tematem tabu, tematem zastepczym, wreszcie tematem przemilczanym. W ten sposób liczba osób narazonych na transmisje wirusa rosnie. Milczenie nie jest bowiem rozwiazaniem. Historia pokazana w filmie toczy sie wokól obecnosci HIV/AIDS w naszym kraju. Pyta o tolerancje i spoleczne nastawienie wobec tego zagadnienia, o otwartosc i w koncu o lek, którego ofiarami padaja nie tylko osoby zyjace z wirusem, ale takze te, które funkcjonuja w bance niewiedzy lub ignorancji, które mówia: „Mnie to przeciez nie dotyczy”.
