One-Eyed Jacks

  • Producer: George Glass; Frank P. Rosenberg

CGiii Comment

Brando's one and only foray in the director's chair...it's only included here because of him.

From the opening shot...this is Brando by Brando - there are many scenes that linger on the Brando pout...courtesy of Brando - that Hollywood ego has been allowed to run amok.

The supporting cast are weak - especially the women...the material that they were given doesn't exactly help...ridiculously submissive.

The editing is terrible. A story that could have been told with, at least, 40 minutes cut out...without doing any damage to the narrative.

It ends with the most boring and shortest shoot-out ever seen.
