My grandmother's lodging house situated at the corner of Shakespeare and Victor Hugo streets in Mexico City. When I was ten years old I met one of them. His name was Jorge Riosse. My grand mother remembers him as a very special young man that filled up her life with art and love. But she also suspects that he murdered a dozen women.


La cineasta recopila en cámara testimonios de su abuela, propietaria de una casa de huéspedes. Uno de ellos, el más especial de todos, con quien entabló una entrañable amistad, quizás era en realidad un asesino de mujeres -homosexual. Con este filme ganador del Ariel a la mejor ópera prima, la joven cineasta reflexiona sobre la verdad y la leyenda, el recuerdo y las relaciones entre los seres humanos, que pueden moverse, veleidosamente, desde el amor hasta el ansia criminal.
