CGiii Comment

Charles Henri Ford was an openly gay poet/writer/filmmaker/magazine publisher who led a long and interesting life. He started by reading his poetry in one of Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas' salons in 1930s Paris. In the 40's he was associated with Rene Magritte Marcel Duchamp, Jean-Paul Sartre, Henry Miller and Jean Genet. In the 50's he was a contemporary of Allen Ginsberg, Paul Bowles and William S. Burroughs. He also was involved in homoerotic underground film, Johnny Minotaur produced at Warhol's Factory. This is his story.
