CGiii Comment

Brutal...and, surprisingly blunt.

The Kemp brothers do a fine job indeed.

Medak chose to tell the story of these contemptible twins without contempt - letting the story simply tell itself (it is rather well documented) - unfolding through sadistic scenarios with touches of humour and sensitivity.

Aferall, criminals cannot be 100% bad - their mother must love them - and this remains the crux of the story - the humanity behind the monsters.

Medak went on to make Let Him Have It - a story set in the same era - more thought-provoking...but, like The Krays - true and mindful of how far we have come.

Good work.
