For 15 years, photographer Sara Davidmann worked closely within the transgender and cross-dressing community. After her mother moved to a nursing home, Sara found two envelops with one line of instructions: to be destroyed. The documents inside the envelop revealed that her decades uncle Ken was a closeted transgender person. She is intrigued to dig deeper and discover the hidden history of her family that explains its resentment to her work.
