CGiii Comment
A man and his dog, a best friend and terminal cancer. It doesn't exactly present itself as one of the cheeriest films of the year...but, it is - without doubt - the most heart-warming.
It's a bromance for an older generation...yes, you young things out there, older men can have bromantic relationships...this one will pluck at your heart-strings.
The core of the story is not the terminal cancer but the [suitable] adoption of his dog...there's a lesbian couple who are contenders...but, will their stupidity get in the way?!?
By the end...you will be reduced to a sobbing mess. This is friendship, this is love.
Beautifully pitched, beautifully played. Just beautiful.
