A film that could have gone so much further...
A mother with three trans kids...she has an amazing sense of humour... and accepts her kids wholeheartedly. Really, she should have been the centre of the film!
No trailer...
The(ir) Blurb...
On a small island at the mouth of the Amazon River, Dominique reminisces about her life as a trans woman: from a strict religious childhood to living with a conservative gay uncle, from moving to São Paulo to entering a life of prostitution and being a victim of police brutality. At home, her mother talks about realizing that her son is a gay man, at first, and then a trans woman. Dominique plans her return to Cotijuba, a remote small island in the Amazon, to spend their later years together.
